MEET THE POTTERS:
The Kamia were prehistorically from the Colorado Desert and moved during historic times to the west bank of the Colorado River just south of the Yumas. Eventually inter-marrying, primarily with the Yumans and Southern Diegueno. Once they held all the territory known as the Imperial Valley as well as the surrounding desert.
